About the Landscape

The Veterinary Coronavirus Vaccines Landscape compiles and summarizes publicly available information on coronavirus vaccines that are in development and commercially available for domesticated animals.

Improved coronavirus vaccines for domesticated companion and agricultural animals are intended to provide improved protection from disease, reduce animal suffering, prevent viral transmission to offspring, respond to the emergence of highly virulent strains, and enhance global food and livelihood security. Vaccine candidates profiled in the Landscape span all four coronavirus genera and multiple animal species.

CIDRAP initiated development of the Landscape with data from the University of Bergen and support from CEPI, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations.
